Classes start on Thursdays from 4:15-5:15 for 8 weeks
– October 4, 11, 18, 25
– November 1, 15, 29 (no class Nov 8 or 22)
– December 6, 13 (makeup day)
Grades 5-12. No sewing experience needed!
Boys and girls all welcome!

Registration Options and Cost
Fee $200.00 for 8 weeks.
Includes all fabric, supplies, and use of sewing machines.
Limit 6 minimum- 18 maximum

Details/Description
Our Fall 2018 project is to recreate the collar (add a collar to your design). You design the collar and add it to your simple silhouette. Choose from many fun fashionable fabrics for Fall for your design. Solids, stripes, plaids, checks geometrics and florals. Make the body a solid and make your collar a pattern. It’s up to you, you’re the designer!

You’ll start with:

• Learning how to sew or if already know how, you’ll sharpen your skills
• Choosing your fabric from an array of solids, plaids, florals etc
• Rendering and sketching
• Learn how to measure for pattern selection and sizing
• Layout and marking your pattern
• Cutting and pinning
• Sewing your components together using a machine
• Fitting and final finishing touches
• Fashion show and planning it
