My daughter has been taking classes/camps at Fashion First Workshops for 3+ years. She has learned and created so much! Sewing fundamentals, sketching, and more. She has hosted a FFW birthday party which was a blast and even created and sewed her own junior bridesmaid dress (at 11 yrs old). Quickly go from “How to Sew” to “How to Sew a Dress”

My daughter started with FFW in the spring. Miss Renee taught her some sewing basics and quickly moved into teaching her how to sew dresses that were fashionable and she enjoyed wearing. Daughter Loves Learning How to Sew From Miss Renee

My now 11 year old daughter has been attending Saturday workshops for over a year. She had no prior sewing experience, coming in only with her enthusiasm and a love of color, textures and fashion. She’s completed really exciting pieces from dresses, tops, shorts- even a cape that she wore for Halloween. Now, she plans to sew a special top for her grandmother that is in a nursing home.

My daughter always looks forward to attending the Saturday morning workshops and really loves the different and fun trips to NYC. She plans to attend two different summer camps to continue her projects. Renee is wonderful with her, as well as the other girls that attend.

Fashion Sewing Classes with a Flair for Design

My daughter Olivia age 11 has been taking fashion sewing classes with Mrs. Renee for about one year. She began with a week of summer camp and has been hooked since them. She really enjoys that Mrs. Renee allows her to choose whatever she wants to make. She has learned about different styles and what fabric works best for certain clothes. Mrs. Renee really assists her through the process and works with her closely on the sewing details. She has made a top, romper and jacket so far this year and proudly wears all of them. Olivia really enjoys the time she spends at her home workshop. She also has joined in for a few of the NYC fashion field trips and always comes home happy and ready to share about her fashion adventures.

Fun Fashion Class

My niece loves this class she can’t wait till Saturday rolls around so she can attend her Fashion Design Sewing Class. The Home Studio fashion class has small size sessions, each designer has their own design they’re working on. They love to challenger each other and can’t wait to see what the other designer is making and her finished design. We can’t wait to sign up for Summer Fashion Camps! Ms Renee is patient, kind and very personable, the girls love her and how she is mentoring them to be who they want to be in fashion.

Daughter Loves Sewing and Fashion Design Classes at FFW

My daughter has attended several after-school Fashion First Workshops and also a week at the summer camp program. She has created some really interesting, well-made pieces, all of which she loves to wear.
