Tuesdays for 6 weeks, Nov 2nd, 9th, 16th, 23rd, 30th, and Dec 7th

2:45-4:00 p.m. (Grades 2nd-8th, Ages 7-13)

No sewing experience necessary. Co-ed classes.

Cost: $190 (includes fabrics, trims, and sewing supplies as well as use of sewing machines. If a student has their own machine they know how to use, feel free to bring it along!)

Have you ever dreamed of becoming a fashion designer? Your dreams can come true! In all of our classes, we walk you through all of the fashion design steps and show you what it takes to be a fashion designer.

For this season, we have come up with a new twist on a classic design: the Cowl Neck Top!  This is the perfect top for any fall outfit, it will also match with the Jumper Dress created during the Fall 1 session. We will create matching scrunchies and other accessories as the time allows. You will start with sketching and rendering your design. Measuring, pinning and cutting out your design. Already know how to use a sewing machine? Great! Otherwise we will teach you.

The class fee includes all fabric, trims, notions and use of the sewing machines. If you have your own machine and want to bring it to class and use it that’s great, please do! You can bring your machine starting the second week of class. Sew your garment together then fit the design to work for you, lastly finish the design. At the end of the classes we will hold a virtual fashion show to share with your family.

So come join us for this fashionable class experience on Tuesdays with Fashion First Workshops! We’re always busy learning, having fun and meeting new friends at a distance.

Social distancing will be followed throughout the 6-week sessions to keep us all safe. Face masks are mandatory. Supplies will be passed out and used solely by the individual designer.
