A Morning of Sewing: Learn to Sew a Button and Hem Workshop

Location: Westfield Recreation, 425 E. Broad St., Westfield NJ

Thursday, November 12th. 

10:00 a.m.-12:00 p.m.

No sewing experience necessary. Co-ed classes.

Cost: $30 includes supplies. (If you have something specific you would like hemmed or a button you need sewn on, bring it along!)

Min 6 max 12 students

Are you interested in learning how to sew but you don’t know where to begin? Join us for a morning where we will teach you the necessary basics of hand sewing that everyone should know how to do!

We will teach you how to properly sew a button on to a piece of fabric and we will also teach you how to hem an article of clothing. If you have a button you need replaced or a hem you need sewn, bring it along! Otherwise we will have fabric and buttons for you to practice with.
