Dear families of Fashion First Workshops,
First and foremost, I hope everyone in our Fashion First Workshops community is doing well. During these unprecedented times,
FFW is adjusting our educational programs to meet the safety of our students, employees, and families. Under normal circumstances we’d be planning our summer camp schedule and theme weeks for our children.
Our opening day of summer camp season was to begin June 22nd but, given the stay at home orders along with our schools being shut down, this is unfortunately not a reality. Instead, our camps are going virtual begging June 22. Will hold a morning camp and an afternoon camp. For June 22 weeks and for June 29 weeks thus far. As time goes on we will adjust our schedule and keep you informed, so if you are not our mailing list please go to our website and in the upper right-hand corner add yourself to our mailing list. Thank you!
Rather than speculating on an open date for summer camps we will rely on the lifting of the stay at home orders, as well as other key indicators from the local government and health officials.
We are optimistic we will offer our summer fashion sewing camps this year. As you understand, the safety of our staff and campers has always been our number one priority. You can be confident we are equally focused on health and well-being as we prepare for the future.
It is impossible to predict the impact on our programming & activities at this time but, please keep in mind we are exploring every option available to us. We are optimistic we will open our summer 2020 camps somehow, even though it may be at a distance, in small groups or virtual.
We will provide updates via social media, email & website. Until that time, be well and stay safe.
Best Regards,
Mrs. Renee
