9:00-12:00 or 1-4:00 pm 

Ages 9-16 all welcome 

No sewing experience necessary 

Co-ed classes

Fee $250.00 half day session (Includes all fabric, notions, trims, and use of sewing machines)
Limit 8

CDC guidelines will be followed. We will take every precaution to make this camp week as safe as possible adding in lots of fun!!!

Each student will have their own sewing machine, supplies and fabrics for the entire camp week.

Social distancing will apply.

Masks required.

Outside space for snack time break.

Bohemian Week- Design and create a flowing Boho style romper. Mixing & matching patterns for their design. Design a bag or even a bracelet from our collection of beads and fabrics. Our campers will explore the Boho lifestyle from arts to music. Our week will end with a Virtual individual fashion show, to share with your family and friends.

Jersey Shore Week– Design and create beach cover-up. Designers will explore beach cover up fabrics, styles and prints. The accessory of the week is to design & embellish their straw hat. Add a message to your hat brim or decorate it with your unique style. Our week will end with a Virtual individual fashion show, to share with your family and friends.

Our students [Fashion Designers] start with the sketch (croquis), technical details, choosing and rendering the fabric, learning the proper way to make a pattern, including measuring each other, understanding the importance of this process and the fit of the garment. They learn how to pin and sew using a sewing machine.  Then, they sew the entire garment including the final fitting. Finally, on the last day of our camp, we hold our individual virtual Fashion Show. During our fashion summer camp weeks, if time allows, we add individual fashion challenges (i.e. Newspaper challenges, trash bag challenges), for our designers to explore their inner most creativity. No sewing experience necessary. All fabric, supplies and use of the sewing machines are included.
