Your birthday party guests will learn how to cut, pin and sew this great project together. As for the fashion runway challenge they’ll team up & make a unique outfit. The model of your team will show off the outfit you designed for her in the fashion show finale.

The birthday girl chooses from the list of projects below, for her party event!

Projects

#1-Project Fashion Wars

Fashion is your passion! Ages 8 & up The fashion birthday party guests are broken down into groups. Each group is handed a shopping bag with fabric, scissors, tape measure & safety pins. This is where the fun begins when these guests have 30 minutes to complete their unique outfit. Fashion show to follow.

#2-HAIR SCRUNCIES

Guests can make a trendy scrunchie (or two) in this fabulously fun birthday party. Using colorful printed fabric and elastic, our talented teachers will help your child and their fashionable friends make the perfect accessory for any outfit, a custom sewn scrunchie!

#3-AMERICAN GIRL DOLL OUTFIT

Guests custom-made doll dress! First guests will choose their fabric, then we’ll start to sew and assemble the dresses. Our final step will be to decorate with sparkle, ribbon, & lace. Our dress design will fit all American Girl Dolls and other similar 18″ dolls. Dolls are always welcome to attend..

FASHION SHOW AT THE END OF THE EVENT! 

#4-FASCINATOR

Guests will  will design & create their very own fascinator to wear to their very own English Tea Party. They’ll choose from the base of the design then use tulle, lace, buttons, flowers & other choices! We can’t wait to see what they create.

#5-PILLOW

Guests will learn to sew and create a fabulous heart, circle, or square shaped decorative throw pillow. One side of the pillow will feature fuzzy, solid colored fabric while the other will be a colorful cotton print of their choosing. This is a fun (and useful) sewing project for any age!

#6-TOTE BAG

Guests choose from a variety of fabric & sew a fashionable tote bag or backpack. We then bring out the bling and give them the option to stylize and decorate their new bags. These carry-all’s always look professional & everyone leaves with something unique!

Sewing birthday party for 2 hours included time for the fashion show, fabric, notions & use of sewing machines are included.

Birthday Party FAQ

GOODY BAGS

Our goody bags have a costume jewelry adjustable ring, a hair accessory, and a lollipop for each party attendee. The birthday girl gets an extra gift along with her goody bag. If you’d like to add to our goody bag just let us know and we can leave the goody bags open for you. Goody bags are $5.00 per guest.

FOOD ETC

Yes, we welcome you to bring outside food, cake, cupcakes, and/or drinks. Our studio does not have refrigeration. We can offer a cooler to keep the drinks cool. We normally have students break for pizza after one hour of sewing, finish their projects, then have cake/cupcakes.

DECORATIONS

Yes, we decorate the party room. We include the table cloths, napkins, plates & utensils.
Balloons & other décor are not included. .

CANCELLATION POLICY

All parties/events require a non-refundable $200 deposit to reserve our studio. The balance is due the day of your party or event. Birthday party or special event cancellations will result in the forfeiture of the deposit 2 days prior to the event we need a head count of more than the 10 required guests.

CHANGE THE DATE POLICY

We require 2 weeks advance notice for any date or time changes. The Fashion first workshops will do our best to accommodate your requested date provided.
