Madison Community House: 25 Cook Ave, Madison, NJ

Monday March 29th, 9:00 a.m.-12:00 p.m. No sewing experience necessary. Co-ed classes.

Cost: $75 (includes fabrics, trims, and sewing supplies as well as use of sewing machines. If a student has their own machine they know how to use, feel free to bring it along!)

Are you interested in fashion design and upcycling? So are we! Which is why we have created this one day workshop just for you! We love upcycling clothes and turning something old into something new and stylish. In this workshop, we will learn how to take two bandanas and turn it into a fabulous flowy top that is perfect for spring and summer. If you don’t know how to use a sewing machine, that’s ok we will teach you! You will be able to wear your top home after only one day. We will teach you about the fashion design process and provide all the materials and use of sewing machines, all you need to bring is yourself and your passion for fashion! (Invite your friends too!) You will never look at your old clothes the same way again, it’s time to save the environment in style and do some upcycling!
