Do you love fashion design? Do you want to learn to create unique designs? Then join us as we recreate a classic silhouette, the Tulip Top design! With the distinctive design of the crossed hem, this top is sure to create a buzz!

Dates/times: 7 weeks, October 10th, 17th, 24th, November 7th, 14th, 21st, & December 5th

Saturdays 12:45-1:45 P.M.

Grades ages  7 and up

Do you want to learn how to sew using a sewing machine and create fashionable designs? Here is the perfect chance! This class will focus on sewing the Tulip Top with a lovely criss-crossed hem, perfect over a long-sleeve top or under a cardigan!

You need to have a sewing machine for this class. It could be yours Moms or even Grandmas.

Day 1- Learn how to use your machine and what makes it tick. Practice sewing.

Day 2- Learn how to measure and render your fabric on your design lead sheet. Cut out your paper pattern.

Day 3- Place your pattern on the fabric, pin and cut it out. 

Day 4- Pin and sew fabric pieces together starting with the shoulder seams

Day 5- Pin side seam

Day 6-Pin and sew the side seams

Day 7-Fit and adjust whether it be the neck opening or the bottom length. Trim or adjust. Pin hem upward and sew

Day 8-Pin and sew the neckline.
