This NEW class is a perfect beginner class, or even if you have signed up for one of our summer fashion camps and need to brush up your sewing skills. 

Dates: Available until December 2021

 Ages 8 & up  

Beginner level project

Co-ed classes

Class size 6-13

Fee $30.00 1 session 1.5 hours 

Private lessons will be offered upon request Fee $75.00 for the 1.5-hour session

Remote learning

This course is available for “remote” learning and will be available to anyone with access to an internet device with a microphone (this includes most models of computers, tablets). Classes will take place with a “Live” instructor at the date/times listed above. Designer must download ZOOM to attend.

Have you ever wanted to learn how to sew, or maybe you have sewn in the past but, need to sharpen your skills. This class is perfect for you! This virtual class will reinforce basic sewing skills, as well as familiarize you with the parts of your machine and how to thread your machine. You will not only practice but, you will make a simple pillow for this class as your practice project. 

Supply list:

• Sewing machine
• Scissors suitable for cutting
• Thread (either cotton or polyester)
• Ruler or tape measure
• Pencil 
• Straight pins
• Seam riper
• Paper for creating your pattern
• Sewing machine accessories that come with your machine
• Fabric to make the pillow even an old tee shirt
• Poly fill stuffing for the pillow
